Another Saturday is done.  Only four more this tax season.  After that we begin counting down to the California trip.

Lissa works  hours tonight.  I believe this will be her longest night shift ever.  She will be tired tomorrow.  She works 8 hours Sunday night and then has Monday off.

Does Erick ever look at the journal.  Most everyone over here would already know this stuff.  I don't know if he does.

We are getting close to being done with tax season.  I counted the returns that I am responsible for and found that I only have 73 more to finish in the final four weeks of tax season.  Since I don't actually have to do them all it shouldn't be too tough.

I wonder what you are all doing tonight.

I am using the new computer.  I'm not used to the keyboard yet, but I'll get there.

It has a great big screen, and very clear picture.  And, best of all, it works!!

Puggles is outside the slider looking at me.  If I let him in he will likely get mud all over the floor and me.  But, that's what Whumpuses do.

The house is looking great!  We can park both cars in the garage.  Life is good.

Hope you all have a restful weekend.

Your Mom, Grandmother and I went to Pullman today and had lunch at the Fireside.  It was nice to have a day off.

Mandy, Phil and Lissa spent Friday doing a monstrous job of cleaning out the upstairs at the office.  They loaded two tons of "stuff" (computer components, chairs, wood, etc. to the dump.  It's looking better than it has in years.

Your Mom and I go to see Dr. Olek on Friday.  She has had all the tests he wanted done so now we can knowledgeably consider whatever options for treating her MS that he comes up with.

Looking forward to June and Disneyland.  Also hoping to get over to see Erick and Heidi in the next couple of months.

I will need to get everyone's taxes done in the next few weeks.  If Erick and Heidi could send me there stuff I'll get it done and back to them as soon as I can.

Just a thought, every once in awhile a person needs to think about the things that make them happy.

The tentative schedule looks like a good starting point.  I'll try to talk with the Nevadan's sometime this week to see if it would be workable for them.

See you Thursday.

Make sure Phil brings the bank statements.

Well,

I tried to post a note earlier today only to find that I didn't know what I was doing.  Not unusual!

Anyway, I'm taking tomorrow off.  Hooray!!  May be the last day off until the end of February.  Boo Hiss.

I may spend the day shoveling snow if the forecast is correct, but at least the driveway is clear and dry right now.

Have a good weekend.

Hello from Picklesnoot

Kathy, Lissa and Picklesnoot will be going to Spokane tomorrow (11/30).  Lissa has a checkup with her doctor at noon and Kathy has an appointment with her neurologist (we hope she doesn't cancel again).

Puggles will be relegated to the garage, but he'll survive.

Kathy and Picklesnoot go to Spokane again on Saturday so she can meet her girlfriends for lunch.  We'll probably do a little shopping, but Kathy still wears out quickly, so we won't be out too long.

For those of you who haven't seen the house lately, the Christmas lights are up.  There aren't as many as last year, but it still looks pretty good.

Lissa is looking into either Dish or Direct TV so we can get the Gonzaga and WSU basketball games.  They are all on ESPNU which our cable company can't get.

I hope you all slow down a little and enjoy each others company through the Christmas season.  I'm probably not a good example to follow in that regard.  Business and other things seem to shift into high gear this time of year.  In a couple of years that will change.

We're looking forward to seeing you all!

Your Mom called tonight.  They are at Carlsbad California - which is north of San Diego on the coast.  They walked on the beach and she got a little bit wet from a wave that came in quicker than she could retreat.

When she called they were eating at a Jamaican restaurant.

The wedding will be tomorrow (Sunday) at a winery in Carlsbad.  We originally thought it was to be in Temecula, but we were wrong.

They are having a great time.  Your Mom is a little worn out, but doing fine.  She has managed to give herself her shots each night.

The fly back Monday.  After she and Anne drop Jim off at work, they will be coming to Colfax.

That's it for now,

Well another week has flown by.  Only 6 more in tax season.

I want to say a big thank you to Phil, Amanda and Lissa for getting the lights off of the roof and the eaves.  I'm sure the neighbors are happier now.

I plan to work Saturday and Sunday this week.  With Brandy gone because of her Dad we are all carrying a little extra share of the load.

It seems like all I talk about is work.  I guess it's that time of year.  My mind is usually thinking about how to solve problems for clients, etc.

Maybe my chatter will be a little more interesting later in the Spring.

All is going normally for tax season.  Brandy continues to need to spend time with her Dad who has cancer of the brain.  It's very sad, he probably has less than a year to live.  Right now he is undergoing a second brain surgery which is extremely dangerous because he has been having radiation treatments and steroid medications.

Anyway, it seems like it's going  quickly.  It won't be long until I'm mowing the lawn.

We look forward to seeing you all soon.
